Each athlete is given a unique rubber bracelet containing an RFID electronic chip. By attaching a SMARTSCAN RFID reader to the start gate of any SMARTSPEED drill, the player is able to automatically identify themselves to the system, simply by touching their wrist on the reader, and waiting for the green light to tell them the system is ready for them to start. The involvement of the coach is simple - set up the system, choose the drill, and that’s it. Everything else is completely automatic.It really is as simple, yet incredible, as it sounds.

SMARTLINK provides this integration by using SMARTSPEED's wirless technology to completely automate video capture with each measurement.

SMARTLINK technology has now been integrated with the internationally acclaimed Dartfish Viedo Analysis software, and automates the start/stop of each clip, and then overlays the SMARTSPEED timing data onto the clip before saving it. Simply set up the camera and walk away. SMARTSPEED and SMARTLINK will produce individual clips for each run, with data saved on the clip.
